the bleeding never stopped until the stitches were in...
she was a brave patient...
so brave and fully recovered that she ripped the skin near the stitches defending a toy from henry's theiving hands... a half hour of elmo elevated and wrapped and the new cut stopped bleeding... she is asleep with the finger bandaged and immobilized...
best june moment: i'm carrying june out the door holding a towel tight around her finger and tell aiden to pick june's dress up so we can put it on her in the car... june says through tears, "no, not that dress. that dress dirty. aiden, get new dress."
runner-up best june moment: i tell june to thank the doctor as he's putting the stitches in her finger. she says, "thank you for tying it up."

the stitches didnt rip, the skin ripped running perpendicular to the stitches... the bleeding stopped easily and now that shes bandaged up, it shouldnt happen again...

henry landed nose first on the asphalt parking lot at aiden's school. it then matched his eye that was split open the day before when he walked behind june's swing.
