a couple of months ago i took the 4 kids fishing... thanks to hig for the pics!

we have been running over to lake arrietta and found some deep brush piles and shell beds with some good fish on them, most of them fattening up to get ready to spawn.

best on the water quote, "wow girls, do you know how much fun this is for your dad!" june responds in a cheery voice, "But not for us!"

bob and illaria turned an atlanta wedding into a southern swing and spent a couple days w/ us in the 'dale (auburndale)... there was much skiing and fishing...

word from the dr. is that my mole-anoma has been completely removed...

statements, such as, " you know, i'll likely be dead in 80 days are you sure i should spend my time changing these diapers" have less play than they did before the report...

i have shifted to blame shifting, e.g. "listen, monica, its your own fault. if you hadnt saved my life spotting that cancerous mole, you wouldnt have to deal w/ me."

this proud nose-picking, freaky looking, 1/2 naked bunch will still have a father...

i went along on aiden's field trip to dinosaur world recently... we had pringles and pizza and asked every guy digging new irrigation lines, "has encontrado huesos del dinosaurio?" well, thats how we would have asked it if we knew spanish... as it was the question "have you found any dinosaur bones?" was never answered...

however, i did issue my first rejection to a boy asking to marry aiden...
